Beverly Mae (Fearing) Hoffler, 94

Jun 17, 2020

Beverly Mae (Fearing) Hoffler of Thomasville, GA, formerly of Carver, MA, passed away June 11, 2020, a month short of her 95th birthday. She was the loving wife of the late Paul Hoffler and the first child of the late Fred and Marjorie (Tripp) Fearing.

Beverly grew up in the Wareham area and moved to Carver after her marriage. She was a very proud resident of Carver and was active in numerous community organizations there, including the Ladies Auxiliary and Old Home Day.  She volunteered wherever needed. She deeply loved her town, always calling Carver “home”.

After retirement, she and Paul settled in Vero Beach, Fl where she continued her volunteerism and again was an active participant in her new community. A late life move to GA ensured being closer to her children.

Beverly’s favorite pastime was being with her large family. She counted among her blessings the multiple grand, great-grand and great-great-grandchildren she had. Her door was always open to her many friends.  She loved New England, lottery tickets, bingo, ice cream and her two special cats.

She is survived by her children, Linda (Ross) Graham of FL, Alan (Jeanne) Hoffler of GA, Karen Lebert of PA, Luanne (Rick) Backman of NC and Barbara Hoffler of FL.

She will be missed by her siblings, John (Lucy) Fearing, Gertrude “Gerry” (Herb) Alley, Barbara Lavine, Leslie (Deanne) Fearing, all of MA and Marjorie (Wayne) Cooper of MI.

Beverly was predeceased by siblings Dorothy Eldridge, Byron Fearing and Gleasia Yoder.

Services will be private.
