Barbara A. Hammond-Rodriguez, 62, of Wareham, passed away at Tobey Hospital on Sunday, December 26, 2021, after a brief illness. She was born in Boston the daughter of the late Ernest P. and Helen (Siniak) Hammond, Jr.

She attended Wareham Public Schools and worked for many years as a Dietary Aide at the former Roland Thatcher Nursing Home. She enjoyed free-hand drawing and listening to R&B and the 50’s and 60’s Soul music. She had a love of all animals, especially her cats “Oreo and Simba“.

Barbara was the sister of  Stephen Hammond of Sagamore and Linda Hammond of East Wareham.  She was also survived by many loving relatives and friends. Services will be private.
