Angela (Mozzetta) DeBonise, 89, of Wareham, died Friday, November 25, 2022 at her home.  She was the wife of the late Alfred W. DeBonise.

Born in San Polo dei Cavalieri, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Adelaide (De Bonis) Mozzetta.  She met her husband while he was on military leave in Italy, and they soon married.  Mrs. DeBonise came to the United States in 1959.

Mrs. DeBonise was a homemaker and a devoted mother and grandmother, spending her days helping to raise each and every one of them.  She loved children, everyone’s children.  She also enjoyed music and dancing to the oldies, playing bingo with her friends and shopping for jewelry.

Survivors include her children, Lillian Stephens and her husband David, Mark DeBonise and his wife Lisa all of Wareham, and Ernest DeBonise and his wife Veronica of W. Wareham; her sisters, Pina Guidotti and Giuliana Iacoangeli both of Italy; 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her daughter, the late Angela L. Maloney; and her brothers, the late Mario and Nando Mozzetta.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Friday, December 2, 2022 at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – Wareham, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt. 28), Wareham from 9 to 11 AM.  A funeral service will follow at 11 AM at the funeral home.  Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Wareham.
