Fall River, MA – Saint Anne’s Hospital now offers women’s health in collaboration with Women & Infants Hospital in Providence, RI, the region’s leading hospital dedicated to women’s healthcare.

Women’s Health at Saint Anne’s Hospital, in collaboration with Women & Infants Hospital, brings enhanced care to the Fall River community for benign breast disease, breast cancer, breast surgery, as well as gynecologic oncology.

“Women & Infants Hospital is widely recognized throughout the region for its world-class care in diagnosing and treating breast cancer and gynecologic cancer,” said Michael Bushell, president, Saint Anne’s Hospital. “We are excited to bring additional expertise to our patients through this collaboration.”

“As part of our ongoing commitment to serve the needs of women with breast and gynecologic cancer in the southeastern New England region, the Program in Women’s Oncology at Women and Infants Hospital is excited to bring our expertise to the Saint Anne’s Hospital community,” said Dr. Paul DiSilvestro, director of the Program in Women’s Oncology at Women & Infants Hospital.

The Women & Infants team, now treating patients at Saint Anne’s Hospital, includes two breast surgeons, Dr. Jennifer Gass and Dr. Micaela Weaver, as well as two gynecologic oncologists, Dr. Katherine Miller and Dr. Elizabeth Lokich, supported by Nurse Practitioner Ariana Carvajal, who is specifically trained in women’s unique health needs.

The team offers consultations with patients in Fall River on the PrimaCARE campus at 277 Pleasant Street, and Dr. Lokich sees patients at Hawthorn Medical Associates, 531 Faunce Corner Road, Dartmouth. Most hospital care is provided at Saint Anne’s Hospital, including most surgeries.

The women’s health program supplements the care offered through Saint Anne's Hospital Regional Cancer Center, a comprehensive community-based cancer care program that offers a range of treatments, including medical treatment and radiation therapy.
