A New Kind of Concert!

Mar 27, 2019

No stage, no seats, no rules, just fun!

The New Bedford Symphony Orchestra returns to Kilburn Mill at Clarks Cove on Saturday, April 13, 2019, with a new entertainment project, Symphony on Tap. Featuring local craft beers, signature cocktails, fine wines, and live music, this event offers a new way to bring people together to enjoy a show. The orchestra will feature 61 musicians performing 60 minutes of music including Beethoven’s famous Fifth, Wagner’s wild Ride of the Valkyries (you’ll know it from television and the movies), Stravinsky on fire, and a Star Wars finale. Doors open at 7pm for an hour of free munchies and mingling, followed by live music from 8–9pm and free desserts from 9–10pm. Cash bar open all evening. So grab a beverage, mingle with friends, gather round the orchestra, and enjoy the show. Tickets are just $10 and available at www.nbsymphony.org. Event sponsors are Artisan Bake Shop, Morton’s Fork Catering, and Russell Morin Catering.
