Looking for something to do with those crochet hooks and knitting needles that are just sitting idle in the bureau drawer or in your knitting basket? There is a group that meets at the Gleason Family YMCA every Wednesday at 1 pm to 2:30 pm for a knitting & crocheting session in the Y community room. This group knits for themselves and for charity and is always willing to share ideas and shortcuts in the knitting & crocheting world. Many of the groups items have been donated to local charitable organizations for fundraisers or raffles,  as well as to hospitals for patients. This active group of artist’s is looking for new people interested in an organized knitting & crocheting session and any level of skill is welcome.
