Come hear the story of a first-time backpacker who embarked on a 6-month journey through the 14 states of the Appalachian Trail.   On Wednesday, March 11th at 6 PM, Sam Ducharme, a retired prison guard and long-time outdoor enthusiast, will be at Southworth Library to share tales and images from the adventure that changed his life.   This event, sponsored by Friends of the Dartmouth Libraries, is free and open to the public.
